In a recent interview, filmmaker Zack Snyder
revealed that he has never met Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige for the MCU
project.
Director Zack Snyder has been receiving mixed
reviews of his recently released Snyder Cut, which is his version of the
Justice League movie. However, this is not the first time a director has
collaborated with DC Extended Universe. The director has previously made major
films such as Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice
League.
That raises the question of whether Zack has ever
been touched by the Marvel Cinematic Universe or vice versa, considering MCUs
great popularity and how the crossover between DCEU and MCU could have hit the
box office.
In a recent interview with MTV News, the 55-year-old
director revealed that he has never met the studio or its president, Kevin
Feige. However, Zack praised his work and said he had done "a good and
good job with madness". He also said the MCU runs the gamut and puts their
toes in all shapes. And they’re playing with their characters now in more
experimental ways and they’re not afraid to take chances, they think they’re
pretty good.
MTV News's Josh Horowitz then asked the filmmaker if
Kevin Fiege was calling him and asking him to work for Wolverine, would he? To
this Zack responds that it would be interesting. "Does that mean you have
to pick up the phone properly?" Zack replies, "from your lips to
God's ears".
